What people are saying - Write a reviewUser Review - Flag as inappropriate This book is beautifully written. It has a comfortable pedagogical approach without the condescending attitude which is the characteristic of most technical books. It is more suitable for a person who wants to do an in-depth study of Signals and Systems (SS) than to a person who needs a SS reference book. What separates this book from others is the fact that some of the worked examples are derived from practical situations in which SS analysis is required. The book is so thorough that it even explains the anatomy of the human ear ! Every major mathematical result in the book is analyzed and explained. Another wonderful thing about this book is its MATLAB section after each chapter. The relevant concepts covered in each chapter are then explored in MATLAB. Though some minor errors exist, they are few and not more than any other book. There are numerous end-of-chapter numericals (again, with a practical bent) but no answers/solutions are provided which can be rather irksome. The drill problems amidst the chapters are provided with answers. This book is a must-have for any SS learner due to its simplicity, practicality and perfection expressed in its content. Review: Signals and SystemsUser Review - Joecolelife - GoodreadsI think, this book is a very good one. It gives wonderful and precise introduction to the subject. Many examples with solutions provided make it very useful for self study. To my opinion, this book is wonderful. I may recommend to buy it. Read full review Related books
