It led me to question the concept of capitalism and begin to oppose it and begin to favor the alternatives. The book gives a good solid history of the working class struggle and shows what the workers were rising up against. Rocker has conceived a Better World that, contrary to what the cynics say, is not implausible. Many enjoy a perennial advantage over few, no matter the latter's concentration of wealth and power.
