Eminent Indians: administrators and political thinkers

Though Charanya, Paraskara,Bharadvaja, Brihaspati, and Sukra had been some of the ancient political thinkers, Manu, the father of mankind and Kautilya, the learned author of arthashastra, had been the path breakers. According to Manu, God creted a king for the protection of the whole creation. However, Kautilaya departs from the divine rights of the king.
