Sonargaon is is the Old City of Muslim and Ancient seats of Buddhist.
Old Capital ( 13th to 17th Century ) and in the 4th Century Buddhist king found at Sonargaon. there is a place name -Boddhar
bazaar is very busy place. Boat, Country boat, Boat Station,River Crafts, Natural Beauty of Meghna which is Mighty and erosion of river, life style and customs and retuals of Island villages people is losing Day by day.
Boddhar bazaar was Ancient Major port near Sonargaon City ( 3km. )
many foreign Ship anchor and loaded from here during 12th Century.
Many tour operator organise Sonargaon Tours by the Foreign Tourists and local Picnic.
Holiday Village-Bangladesh only organised Regular Cruises on Meghna & Visit Sonargaon with Lunch and Snacks on Boat.
