About the author (2000)

Kerry Kennedy Cuomo has led 28 delegates supporting human rights in such countries as Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Sudan, & Pakistan. She lives with her husband, Andrew Cuomo, & their children near Washington, D.C.

Eddie Adams has won 500 photography awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, in over 35 years as a photojournalist. He lives in New York City.
