I have read this book with passion. It chronicles all the major and minor events which was the genesis of the present metropolis. As per the version of Sharada dwivedi, Mumbai was not found by any maharashtrian, or local person. It was first Portuguese, then The British, and later on a few prominent business personalities, like Parsees, Marwaris, Muslim, and Jews who built the city with their Textile mills, and other industries. Among them, Tatas were the prominent ones.
