Not a book to teach parenting, thank goodness. A book that helps you to have respect and compassion for yourself and you co-parenting partners - and your children, at whatever age they are. Very congruent with all we are learning about the neurobiology of relationships in the role of brain development. But ultimately this book challenges you to make decisions about how you parent based on the reality of who you are and who your child is rather than based on a formula that is bound to fail you at some point. A book for parenting through the whole span of a child-parent relationship -and that is a lifetime.
