This book is a wonderful resource for approaching God as Mother. In our time, viewing God as Mother is very important. As its author teaches:
“If the universe is to be made a hatredless happy home
, and if love, mercy and other qualities of heart (the bankruptcy of which has been so keenly felt in the present world) are to reappear, Motherhood of God is the most favourable aspect. Under Fatherhood, the world has been run practically as a rigid-disciplined office. Mother is essentially the ocean of Infinite Love and Mercy. Mother is human mother vested with omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence and raised to Infinity and God-hood. Mai is to the Mai-ist what a human mother is to her child.”
Infinity is thought of, visualized and approached as Divine Mother with all living creatures as Her children.
I highly recommend this book to all. As another reviewer as pointed out, one can follow Mother's path of Love, Service, Devotion, and Self--Surrender from within any of the major religious traditions without having to leave that religion.
