About the author (2006)

SINGH, M. D. M.D. SINGH, Ph.D., former Principal at Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal, worked as Assistant Director and Scientist at Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani (Rajasthan) and has been Vice-President of the Indian Physics Association, BITS Pilani. A former member of IEEE (USA) and a life member of IETE (India), Dr. Singh has contributed several research papers in many reputed national and international journals. He has also co-authored a book on Power Electronics. His areas of interest are mechatronics, nanoelectronics, and microwaves. JOSHI, J. G. J.G. JOSHI is with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Government Polytechnic, Pune. A life member of IETE (India), IEI (India) and ISTE, Mr. Joshi has to his credit many research articles published in reputed journals. He has presented many research papers in national and international conferences and has authored a book on Electronic Measurement and Instrumentation Systems. His areas of interest are mechatronics, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and communi-cation systems.
