In our childhood, we knew Birbal as the sharp, witty and intelligent minister of Emperor Akbar. We read his stories, enjoyed them thoroughly, and then forgot them. We probably never thought his sagacity and problem-solving acumen could one day help us manage many of our own problems at home or at the office. The 200-page book by Luis Vas contains 85 small but extremely engrossing tales “to spark your creative thinking”. A paragraph or two on management morals, safe and applicable, follows the stories…Today, no one has time to go through thick books on management skills.
