NYPD Detective, Jennifer Campbell, investigates the murder of New York's top fashion designer and a model while working against the clock to stop a madman who plans to kill seven children before murdering Jennifer herself-his twisted version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. A deadly game begins after the delivery of a mysterious code. Children are tagged in the game of death, and Jennifer struggles to take control of the case, but the FBI has been called in. Jennifer's new partner is a flirty, childish playboy whom she tries to ditch at first, but when his great mind and instincts are revealed, Jennifer begins to see him as an asset...and maybe more. The detectives go undercover and enter life-threatening situations as the tempest of deception, betrayal, and danger accelerates. Jennifer and Roy grow closer by the minute, but the killer's connection to Detective Campbell's past threatens to unfold her darkest secret and turn her life into a nightmare. Will Jennifer's past destroy the life she's built? Will she survive the death trap planned for her? Volume I of The Maze series.
