About the author (2008)

Dr. T.R. Kannaki M.V. Sc., Scientist, ICAR. The author has pursued her B.V.Sc from Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal, Tamil nadu. She was the university topper and honored with 31 gold medals in the year 2003.She has pursued her master's degree in Veterinary Immunology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly in 2005. Currently she is working as Scientist in ICAR.

P.C. Verma
Dr. P.C. Verma M.V.Sc, Ph.D, Principal Scientist, B.P. Division, I.V.R.I, Izatnagar. The co-author has been serving as Scientist in ICAR for 30 years. He is a specialist in the area of viral immunology. He has been teaching various courses of immunology for post graduate and doctoral students for past two decades in I.V.R.I. He has guided many students in immunology.
