Dared Odyssey

Pankaj Nigam, the author of this book “Dared – Odyssey” comes from the City of Nawabs- Lucknow. Did his schooling from the ‘Society of Jesuits’, schools in Lucknow, Chandigarh, Allahabad, Patna and a collegian of Patna University. Thereafter, completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Delhi. Been a Delhite since 1977, his early years of profession as a marketing executive, exposed him to extensive travelling to the remotest parts of India and this travel accompanied with interaction with many, molded his career formidably and he retired in 2019 as a successful and contented Vice President from a globally renowned company involved in manufacturing of pipes for Oil and Gas sector. Thanks to his early travel exploits and his professional exposures, travel has always been his passion - mantra.

Besides, he has the unique affinity for several Indian regional languages and now during this prevailing Pandemic Covid-19, he is keeping himself engrossed indulging learning Spanish.

Apart from Indian travel exposure, he had the splendid opportunity of exploring the world and frequented countries in Europe, the North America, Mexico, Canada and of course the South East Asian Countries. Travel has always been a routine which inspired him to share his real life experiences (including his ordeals) through his penned book – “Dared Odyssey”.

His Motto: If you inspire to know the World. Travel is the – ‘WORD’

The Covid-19 (Sept-2020) lockdown made millions stay indoors. Helpless with nothing constructive to do made it difficult to pastime. It is when my family more aptly my grandchild-10 years, Sahil Mahajan who had time and again heard my exploits of “Nagaland-Adventure Trip’72” persuaded me to write this as a true life - ‘Story’. These persevere emboldened me pen down.
