An act to enable Arthur, lord viscount Irwyn, to raise money by mortgage or fale of certain estates in the counties of York, Lincoln, Oxen, and city of London, for payment of debts, legacies and portions charged thereupon; and to settle the eftates therein mentioned on Henry Ingram efq; his next brother, and his heirs.

18. An act to enable the lords commiffioners of the treasury, or lord high treasurer for the time being, to compound with Edmund Ashby, for his part of a debt due to the crown, on account of his having been furety for Benjamin Blundell, late receiver general of the land-tax and duties on houses for the county of Leicester.

19. An act to explain and amend an act paffed in the ninth year of his prefent Majefty, intituled, An act for vefting the 'eftates of fir Gervas Clifton, bart. in trustees; and to enable him to take an eftate for life by way of purchase in fettlements intended to be made of his eftates, on the marriage of Robert Clifton efq; his fon and heir apparent.

20. An act for vesting part of the

estate of fir Edward Blacket bart. in trustees, to be fold for raifing eight thousand pounds charged thereupon by his late brother's marriage settlement.

21. An act for enabling Elizabeth Rushout, lady of the manor of Overfwell, in the county of Gloucefter, to inclofe all and every the lands lying within the faid manor or parish of Overfwell, in pursuance of feveral agreements therein mentioned to have been made between the said Elizabeth Rufhout, and the rector of the parish aforefaid; and between the faid Elizabeth and the churchwarden and parishioners of the faid parish, and to establifh the faid agreements.

22. An act to enable James Bateman

efq; to fell the manor of Tooting Graveney, and all other his eftate in the county of Surrey, and with the monies arising thereby, to purchase the manors of Well and Alford, and other lands in the county of Lincoln, to be fettled to the fame ufes as the said estate in Surrey stand settled.

23. An act for difcharging certain lands at Eccleshall, in the county of Stafford, from the uses and limitations contained in the marriagefettlement of Thomas Boothby Skrymfher efq; and for fettling other lands in the fame county, of greater value, to the fame ufes.

24. An act for fale of the moiety of a farm, called Stony Grainge Farm, in the ifle of Ely, to Jabez Collier, gent. and for applying the money arifing thereby in the purchase of other lands, to be fettled to the fame uses.

25. An act for fale of an eftate late of Henry Hawkins, citizen of London, deceased, for the benefit of his widow and children, and other purposes therein mentioned. 26. An act for enabling John Philips

the most noble Henry, duke of Kent,

in the counties of Hereford, Monmouth, and Gloucester, in the faid duke and his heirs; and for fettling his other estates in the counties of Effex, Suffolk, Bedford, Hertford, Northampton, and Leicester, in lieu

thereof.

32. An act to inclofe divers parcels of waste grounds, lying and being in Westhaughton in the county palatine of Lancaster.

33. An act for vefting in trustees fe-

ditaments in the counties of York
and Derby, for the maintenance of
the poor perfons in the hospital of
Gilbert, earl of Shrewsbury, long
fince deceased, situate at Sheffield in
the faid county of York; and for
enlarging the buildings of the faid
hofpital, and adding more poor
persons to those already established
therein.

34. An act for vefting in trustees
certain manors, lands, and tene-
ments in the county of Cornwall,
late the estate of fir Jonathan Tre-
lawny, bart. (late lord bishop of
Winchester) deceased, to be fold for
discharging certain mortgages by
him made thereof; and for other
purposes therein mentioned.
35. An act for vefting part of the
eftate of Ralph Widdrington efq; in
trustees, to be fold for payment of
the debts of the faid Ralph Wid-
drington.

36. An act to enable certain trustees
therein named to make a convey-
ance of lands in Thringston, in the
county of Leicester, in pursuance of
articles of agreement entred into for
that purpose.

37. An act for confirming and rendring effectual an agreement made between Anne Hefter, widow, William Hefter, and Anne Hefter the younger; and for vefting in trustees certain meffuages and tenements in the parish of St. Olave in Southwark, in the county of Surrey, to

enable them to convey the fame, pursuant to articles of agreement made for fale thereof; and for other purposes therein mentioned. 38. An act for fale of the manors of Middle Ditchford, alias Freeman's Ditchford, Guy's Ditchford, alias Over Ditchford, and other lands therein mentioned, in the county of Worcester, for payment of the debts of Gilbert Sheldon efq; deceased; and for making provifion for his widow, his children and grandchildren; and other purposes therein mentioned. 39. An act to enable James Wilkinfon, and trustees, to make leafes for one, two or three lives, or for years determinable on one, two or three lives, or a certain number of years, of the lands, tenements, and hereditaments in Ireland, comprized im his marriage fettlement.

40. An act for enabling Henry Saint John, late viscount Bolingbrooke, and the heirs male of his body, notwithstanding his attainder, to take and enjoy feveral manors, lands and hereditaments in the counties of Wilts, Surrey and Middlefex, according to fuch eftates and interests as to him or them are limited thereof by the quinquepartite indenture, and other affurances therein mentioned; and for limiting the fame in default of iffue male of the body of the faid late viscount Bolingbrooke, to the other fons of Henry viscount Saint John, fucceffively in tail male; and for other purposes therein expreffed.

For repairing the roads therein mentioned, between CrackleyBank in the parish of Idfal, alias Shiffnall, and the town of Shrewsbury, in the county of Salop. Cap. 10. For repairing the roads from Lemsford Mill in the county of Hertford, to Welwyn, and from thence to Cory's Mill; and from Welwyn through Codicot, to Hitchin in the faid county: and for enlarging the term granted by an act paffed in the fixth year of the reign of his present Majefty, for repairing the roads from Stevenage in the faid county, to Biggleswade in the county of Bedford.

Cap. 11. For repairing and widening the road from Horley Uprightgate, leading down Bowden-Hill, in the county of Wilts, to the top of Kingsdown-Hill, in the parish of Box, in the faid county.

For granting an aid to his Majefty, by laying a duty upon all victuallers and retailers of beer and ale within the cities of London and Westminster, and the weekly bills of mortality, and for prohibiting their fending beer or ale out of their houfes to diftant places, in any pots or veffels lefs than a gallon; and also for adding one hundred additional hackney chairs to those already licensed; and for applying certain arrears of former land-taxes toward the fupply granted to his Majesty for the service of the year 1726. and for appropriating the

To continue two acts of parliament for repairing the highways between Wymondham and Attleborough, and from Wymondham to Hetherfet, in the county of Norfolk; the one paffed in the seventh and eighth years of the reign of his late majesty King William the Third, and the other in the seventh year of the reign of her late majesty Queen Anne; and for repairing the road from the mouth of Wigmore-Lane to Hall-Walk-Gate in Attleborough, in the faid county.

Cap. 23. For repairing the roads leading from the western part of the parish of Shenfield to Harwich in the county of Effex; and the road leading from Chelmsford in the said county, to Sudbury in the county of Suffolk, and from Margretting to Malden in the county of Effex; and from Colchester to Langham in the faid county.

Cap. 24. For repairing the road from

the city of Gloucester to Stone, and
alfo the roads to and near Berkley,
Durfley, Wotton under Edge, Stroud,
and Sodbury, in the county of Glou-
cefter.

Cap. 25. To enable the present and
future inhabitants of the east, north,
and weft fides or lines of St. James's
Square, to make a rate on themselves
for raising money fufficient to clean,
adorn, and beautify the faid fquare,
and to continue the fame in repair.
Cap. 26. For repealing the duty laid
upon fnuff, by an act made in the
eighth year of her late Majesty's
reign, and for afcertaining the rates
according to which the remaining
duties are to be paid, and for giv-
ing further encouragement to the
Greenland fishery.
