ery tongue shall swear. Surely shall say, In Jehovah have I righteousness and strength; to him shall come and all that are incensed against him, shall be ashamed. a

Jesus Christ, he is Lord of all. b Who, being in the form of God, thought it no robbery to be equal with (or as) God. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name, which is above every name; That at (or in) the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.c

I give you to understand, that no man, speaking by the spirit of God, calleth Jesus, accursed; and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. d

CHAP. VI.

Christ will not lose his labor,nor hath he shed his blood in vain; for he will actually, in his own time, save or restore all men.

HE shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied. By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many (or the many ;) for he shall bear their iniquities: a And the glory of Jehovah shall be revealed, & all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken it. b And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the ends of the earth. c I am Jehovah ; that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. d All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto Jehovah and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. hold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world! And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. i And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given unto us the ministry of reconciliation to wit, That God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now, then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us-we pray you in Christ's stead, Be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. j Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son-much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life: And not only so, but we joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement (or reconciliation.) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
