Arthur F. Kinney is Thomas W. Copeland Professor of Literary History at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and founding editor of English Literary Renaissance.

Dan S. Collins in 1987 retired as professor of English at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. An editor of English Literary Renaissance since its inception, he was co-editor of the special issue on "Renaissance Historicism" published in 1986.
