The Study Focuses The Social Intervention Efforts Of The Government And Private Agencies (Called As Public Action) For The Attainment Of Such A Unique Level Of Educational Development Since 1800. It Also Enquires The History And Problems Of Educational Finance And Suggests Alternative Sources Of Financing. This Study, It Is Thought, Would Be A Timely And Valuable Aid To Educationists, Educational Planners And Administrators In India.
