And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea? Ezek. xxvii. 29-32. VER. 19. They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. The city of confusion is broken down; every house is shut up, that no man may come in, Isa. xxiv. 8-10. Moreover, I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle, Jer. xxv. 10. And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard, Ezek. xxvi. 13. | VER. 93.
