Miraculous draught of fishes. and the sons b of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

Christ's charge to Pete".

Yea, Lord; thou knowest that love thee. He saith unto him, Feed i my lambs.

16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that ! love thee, He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.k

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved 7 because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me ? and he said unto him, Lord, thou m knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee," When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird o thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 This spake he, signifying by what death p he should glorify God And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow q me.

20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved, following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

21 Peter, seeing him, saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22 Jesus saith unto him, if I will that he tarry till I come, r what is that to thee? Follow s thou me.

23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

25 And u there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the v books that should be written Amen.

13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, r and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with thes women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of the names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

TOW Peter and John went up together into the temple at a the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man, lame from his mother's womb, was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate b of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask aims of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes, upon him, with John, said, Look

on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In c the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle-bones received strength.

8 And he, leaping d up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porche that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power f or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God g of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, h hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him k in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance q ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, r which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repents ye therefore, and be converted, t that your sins may be blotted u out, when the times of refreshing v shall come from the presence of the Lord;
