Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to start you up, by putting you in remembrance; 14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath showed

me.u

Moreover, I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, v when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye-witnesses of his majesty.

For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word that ye take heed, as unto a light of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day stary arise in your hearts:

Little children, it is the last w time and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

They went out from us; but they were not of us; fory if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest z that they were not all of us.

But ye have an unction a from the Holy One, and ye know b all things.

I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
