AND he said also unto his disci

ples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? Give an account of thy stewardship; a for thou mayest be no longer steward.

3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

The rich man and Lazarus. who shall give you that which is your own?

13 Noe servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the

one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

14 And the Pharisees also, whof were covetous, heard all these things and they derided him.

15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves g before men; but God h knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed i among men, is abomination in the sight of God.

16 The k law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Of the kingdom of God. and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy

23 Andr they shall say to you, See here; or, See there: go not after them, nor follow them.

24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven, so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25 Buts first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

26 And as it was t in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out u of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. v
