CASES DECIDED IN THE COURT OF SESSION, FROM NOV. 12, 1834, TO SEPT. 30, 1835. REPORTED BY PATRICK SHAW, ALEXANDER DUNLOP, J. M. BELL, AND VOL. XIII. EDINBURGH: PRINTED FOR THOMAS CLARK, LAW BOOKSELLER; AND SAUNDERS AND BENNING, LONDON. 1835. In retiring from these Reports, I beg to express to the Bench, to the Bar, and to the Profession generally, my deep gratitude for the courtesy and kindness I have experienced in the course of a Work which, in its outset, was surrounded with difficulties, and in its progress attended with anxiety and labour. In the execution of it, I have had the good fortune to be assisted by gentlemen, in whose knowledge and vigilant attention, I have had the most perfect confidence; and I trust that we may, without presumption, entertain the belief, that our joint exertions have not been without value in illustrating and maturing the system of Scottish Jurisprudence. PATRICK SHAW. |
