About the author (1989)

Harvey MacKay graduated from both the University of Minnesota and the Stanford University School of Business. In 1959, at the age of 26, he purchased a small, failing envelope company and turned it into Mackay Mitchell Envelope Company, a $100 million business. He is the chairman and CEO of the company and a nationally syndicated columnist for United Feature Syndicate. He is the author of several books including Swim With the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive, Beware the Naked Man Who Offers You His Shirt and The Mackay MBA of Selling in the Real World.
