WILLY'S WONDERFUL BATH.

"DID Willy wake very early this morning?" Nurse said so, when she came to his crib. He was wide awake then, staring at the hole in the shutter. He saw a little round blue sky through the funny hole; but when nurse opened the shutter the hole went away, and there was a great blue sky everywhere out of the window. It was a new room to Willy, and yet it was Willy's own crib; for do you know that the day before, Willy, and Willy's crib, and Willy's

papa and mamma, and Willy's nurse, and Willy's baby-brother, had all come from London by the railway-train, to stay for a great many long bright days beside the wonderful sea, so wonderful to Willy, because it was quite new.

Baby was very little, and wore long frocks. He very seldom cried, and he smiled at his mamma-but only at his mamma. Willy smiled at every body, and was very fond of talking; but he could not speak the big words yet, nor all the little ones plainly, for he was only three years old, and could only remember two birthdays. Willy could feed himself with a fork and spoon; and he knew three letters, A, B, and C. He could say some hymns; one about morning, and another about
