Early WritingsThe three major writings in this excellent volume are: "On the Jewish Question", "Contributions to the Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right. Introduction" and "Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts." All were published originally in 1844 when Marx was 26 and present the "humanist ethic" of this controversial figure, as well as the relation between his early Hegelian idea and his later sociological investigations. |
