No, my dear: God turned them out of this lovely garden because they did what He told them not to do. When He first put them to live there, He told them that they might eat the fruit of any tree that grew in the garden except the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, which grew in the middle; but that they were not to touch. D. I should think there was plenty for them without it, Mam ma, as there were so many trees there. Mamma. Yes there would have been plenty for them, but they became naughty, and did not mind what God said: so they went one day, when they thought no one saw them, and picked some of the fruit, and ate it.
