About the author (2004)

John C. Mayoue is an author and attorney who represents some of the South's best-known people, including actress Jane Fonda, communications mogul Ted Turner's ex; Marianne Gingrich, ex-wife of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich; and baseball star David Justice, former husband of actress Halle Berry. Also the author of Balancing Competing Interests in Family Law, Mayoue writes opinion articles for several southern newspapers and appears as a regular commentator on cable television. He lives in Atlanta.
