4 Behold! on flying clouds he comes,
And ev'ry eye fhall fee him move!
Though with our fins we pierc'd him once,
Now he difplays his pard'ning love.

5 The unbelieving world shall wail,
While we rejoice to fee the day:
Come, Lord-nor let thy promife fail,
Nor let thy char'ots long delay.

LXII. Christ Jefus, the Lamb of God, worshipped
by all the Creation, Rev. v. 11, 12, 13.

2 Worthy the Lamb, that dy'd, they cry, To be exalted thus;

Wortby the Lamb our lips reply,

For he was flain for us.

3 Jefus is worthy to receive
Honor and pow'r divine;

And bleffings, more than we can give,
Be, Lord, forever thine.

4 Let all who dwell above the sky,
And air, and earth, and feas,
Confpire to raise thy glories high,
And speak thine endless praife.
Let all creation join in one,
To bless the Sacred Name

5

Of him who fits upon the throne,
And to adore the Lamb.

LXIII.Chrift's Humiliation, and Exaltation,Rev.

THAT equal honors fhall we bring,

WHA To Thee, O Lord, our God, the Lamb,

When all the notes which angels fing
Are far inferior to thy name?

2 Worthy is he who once was flain,
The Prince of Life, who groan'd and dy'd ;
Worthy to rife, and live, and reign

At his Almighty Father's fide.

3 Pow'r and dominion are his due,
Who ftood condemn'd'at Pilate's bar:
Wifdom belongs to Je us too,

Though he was charg'd with madness here.
All riches are his native right,
Yet he fuftain'd amazing lofs:
To him afcribe Eternal Might,
Who left his weakness on the cross.
5 Honor immortal must be paid,
Inftead of fcanda! and of scorn:
While glory fhines around his head,
And a bright crown, without a thorn.
6 Bleffings for ever on the Lamb,
Who bore the curfe for wretched men;
Let angels found his facred name,

And ev'ry creature fay-Amen.

LXIV. Adoption, 1. John, iii. 1, &c. Gal. vi. 6

EHOLD, what wond'rous grace

BEHOLD,

On finners of a mortal race,

To call them ons of God!

2 'Tis no surprising thing

That e fhould be unknown:

not their King.

The Jervis world kne
God's everlafting Son:

3 Nor doth it yet appear
How great we must be made:

But when we see our Saviour near,
We shall be like our Head.

May purge our fouls from fenfe and fin,
As Chrift, the Lord is pure.
5. If in my Father's love
I fhere a filial part,

Send down thy fpirit, like a dove,
To reft upon my heart.

6 We wou'd no longer lie

Like flaves beneath the throne;
Our faith thali Abba Father cry,
And thou the kindred own.

LXV. The day of Judgement. Rev. ri. 15.
ET th' fev'nth angel found on high;
Let thoughts be heard through all the fiey.
Kings of the earth with glad accord,
Give up your kingdoms to the Lord.
2 Almighty God, thy pow'r affume,
Who wait, and art, and art to come;
Jefus, the Lamb, who once waft flain,
For ever live, forever reign!

3 The angry nations fret and roar
That they can flay the faints no more :
On wings of vengeance flies our God
To pay the long arrears of blood.
4 Now must the rifing dead appear-
Now the decifive fenteace hear;
Now the dear martyrs of the Lord
Receive an infinite reward.

LXVI Chrift at his Table, Sol. Song, i. 1, 3, &c. -

LET

ET him embrace my foul, and prove
Mine int'reft in his heav'nly love:
The voice which telis me-
-Thou art mine-

Exceeds the blessings of the vine.

On thee th' annointing Spirit came, And spreads the favor of thy name;
