3 Till thou thy perfect love impart,
Till thou thyself bestow,
Be this the cry of ev'ry heart,
"I will not let thee go."

134 2 Corinthians i, 3—4. (P.M.)
1 DOES a Father his fostering hand
From heaven in mercy extend?
And shall I such goodness withstand,

And refuse such a bountiful friend? 2 Let me rather with rapture embrace An offer so gracious and kind;

And unlimited confidence place

In such goodness and power combined. 3 I'll repose on his word, which declares That the desolate still he befriends; Makes the fatherless children his care, And the cause of the widow defends.

4 I'll list to his heart-soothing voice,

Who declares that the mourners are blest, Who invites them in him to rejoice,

And assures them of comfort and rest.

Ephesians iii, 15-21. (c. M.)

1 THE riches of thy glory, Lord,
O grant our souls to know!
Descend, according to thy word,
And dwell with us below.

2 Thy Spirit send, and furnish strength Unto the inner man,

The depth, and height, and breadth, and length,

Of thy vast love to scan.

3 Love passing knowledge! passing praise!
Oh, root and ground us here;
And on this sure foundation raise
A life of faith and pray'r!

4 All, all our souls possess with God,
With all his fulness fill;

And fit us for thy blest abode,
For Zion's holy hill.

Psalm cxiii, 1. (P. M.)

1 YE servants of God,
Your Master proclaim,

And publish abroad

His wonderful name;
The name all-victorious
Of Jesus extol,

His kingdom is glorious,
And rules over all.

2 God ruleth on high,
Almighty to save,
And still he is nigh,
His presence we have;
The great congregation
His triumph shall sing,
Ascribing salvation

To Jesus our King.

3 Salvation to God,

Who sits on the throne,

Let all cry aloud,

And honour the Son;
The praises of Jesus
All angels proclaim,
Fall down on their faces
And worship the Lamb.

4 Then let us adore,

And give him his right,
All glory, and power,

And wisdom, and might;
All honour, and blessing,
With angels above,
And thanks never-ceasing,
And infinite love.

Isaiah lv, 1-3. (c. M.)

1 OH! what amazing words of grace, Are in the gospel found:

Suited to every sinner's case,

Who knows the joyful sound.

2 Poor, sinful, thirsty, fainting souls, Are freely welcome here: Salvation, like a river, flows Abundant, free, and clear.

I

3 This spring with living water flows,
And living joy imparts:

Come, thirsty souls, your wants disclose,
And drink with thankful hearts.

4 Millions of sinners, vile as you,
Have here found life and peace:
Come, thirsty souls, and prove it true,
And drink, adore, and bless.

Mark viii, 38. (L. M.)

1 ASHAM'D of Jesus! can it be?
A mortal man asham'd of thee!
Of thee, whom highest angels praise,
Whose glories shine through endless days?

2 Asham'd of Jesus! of that Friend

On whom my hopes of heav'n depend;
No, when I blush, be this my shame,
That I no more revere his name!

3 Asham'd of Jesus! yes I may,
When I've no guilt to wash away;
No tear to wipe, no good to crave,
No fears to quell, no soul to save.

4 Till then, nor is the boasting vain,
Till then, I'll boast a Saviour slain ;
And O may this my glory be,
That Saviour not asham'd of me!

Isaiah xii, 2. (P. M.)

1 BEGONE unbelief,
My Saviour is near,
And for my relief

Will surely appear;
By pray'r let me wrestle,
And he will perform ;
With Christ in the vessel,
I smile at the storm.

2 Though dark be my way,
Since he is my guide,

'Tis mine to obey,

'Tis his to provide;
Though cisterns be broken,
And creatures all fail,
The word he has spoken,
Shall surely prevail.

3 His love, in time past,
Forbids me to think

He'll leave me at last
In trouble to sink;
Each sweet Ebenezer,
I have in review,
Confirms his good pleasure,
To help me quite through.
