MANY of the books belonging to the College have been removed, for convenience sake, to the Law School and the School of Mines. The present Catalogue includes only the books and pamphlets that have been retained in the College Library. It is thought necessary to mention this fact in order to account for the absence from it of whole classes of books. A Catalogue of the Library of the School of Mines is now in preparation; and when completed, it may be bound either with this or as a second volume.
