PREFATORY NOTE.

THIS CALENDAR is the only authorised Academical Record of general information respecting the University and Colleges of St Andrews. It is published annually, with the necessary alterations, as soon as possible after the close of the Winter Session.

The general correspondence of the University is conducted by the Secretary (Mr J. E. WILLIAMS), to whom all communications should be addressed.

The correspondence connected with the L.L.A. Examinations is conducted by the Convener of the L.L.A. Committee (Professor KNIGHT).
