A critical History of the Text and Versions of the New Testament. Translated from the French. Lond. 1689-92, 4to. 2 vols. This, as well as that of the Old Testament, is most wretchedly translated. In Campbell's preliminary dissertations to his New Translations of the Gospels some considerable mistakes in Father

Simon's history are rectified.
