About the author (2021)

Chander Shekhar is a Ph.D. research scholar working with Prof. Swaran Singh as a supervisor in the Center for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has an MPhil on the ASEAN organization and an M.A in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Apart from this, he has also completed B.A in Political Science honors from Satyawati College (Eve.), University of Delhi. Along with research internship done in Delhi based think tank, his research area of interests include international relations, especially the ASEAN, India, China and the Indo-Pacific region. Likewise, he has written several journal articles, opinion pieces based in India and outside, and book chapter. Also, author has presented various research papers in seminars and conferences.
