L'Histoire générale des auteurs sacrés par Dom Rémi Ceillier, contient le catalogue, la critique, l'analyse et le dénombrement des différentes éditions des ouvrages des pères, etc.

Dans la Biographie universelle de Michaud, "la bibliographie," est-il dit dans la préface, a été l'objet d'une attention toute particulière."
