Mr. Griffin, the Author of "Stoneleigh Abbey, 34 years ago," having been told by Mr. George Jones, Solicitor to Lord Leigh, it was a duty Mr. G. owed to society to bring the perpetrators of the alledged crimes at Stoneleigh to justice, Mr. Griffin offers the following REWARDS for the DISCOVERY of EVIDENCE: To the persons first furnishing him with satisfactory evidence of THE PLACES AND TIMES OF THE DEATHS Out of Stoneleigh of the following workmen employed in 1824 at the 1 ONE GUINEA EACH MAN, and if living, the same reward for satisfactory evidence of their present address and the like reward to the person who shall first render satisfactory evidence of : THE PRESENT ADDRESS Of the Gentleman who is said to have seen James Henry Leigh, Esq. in the Isle of Wight in Nov. 1823, three weeks after his supposed funeral and of THE PRESENT ADDRESS Of the Gentleman's Servant who is said to have seen the same Mr. THE PRESENT ADDRESS Of the Landlords or Landladies of the residences of the same Mr. Leigh in Paris, or in the Isle of Wight at the times abovementioned, and of the PRESENT ADDRESS Of Mark Bicknell, formerly servant to Mr. Jas. Henry Leigh and of THE PRESENT ADDRESS Of any person now living out of Stoneleigh, who assisted in, or witnessed the removal or disposal of the bodies of the four men said to have been removed thence in hampers in a cart by Sprawson. AND THE LIKE REWARD (When Lord Leigh's consent has been obtained to dig for monuments) to the person who shall first offer to point out, and SHALL POINT OUT A circular space of 10 yards diameter within which any monument of the Leigh family may be found buried at Stoneleigh THE LIKE AT WATERGALL: The above Rewards will be paid as soon as the advertiser has had time to satisfy himself the information is correct in the respective cases, and 1 TEN SHILLINGS REWARD For a sight and copy of the Advertisement Inserted in the newspapers by the Honourable Mary Leigh for the heir to the ancient Peerage and Stoneleigh Estates. A CONTINUATION OF "STONELEIGH ABBEY, Will be published by the same Author, which is intended to contain the future PROCEEDINGS, EVENTS. OR INFORMATION RECEIVED TENDING TO IMPLICATE OR EXCULPATE SACRILEGE, FRAUD, MURDERS, or MOCK FUNERAL: Mr. Griffin also hereby offers to Lord Leigh ten or more pages of that future work for the insertion of any facts or observations he, or his agents or friends may think proper to furnish; not tending to prejudice Mr. G. with other parties. The publication will take place so soon as 2,000 copies are applied for, and sufficient extensive and important materials are obtained.
