"HY kingdom come! on bended knee
The passing ages pray :

And faithful souls have yearned to see
On earth that kingdom's day.

But the slow watches of the night
Not less to God belong;

And for the everlasting right

The silent stars are strong.

And lo, already on the hills

The flags of dawn appear;
Gird up your loins, ye prophet souls,
Proclaim the day is near :

The day in whose clear-shining light
All wrong shall stand revealed,
When justice shall be throned in might,
And every heart be healed;

When knowledge, hand in hand with peace,
Shall walk the earth abroad ;-

The day of perfect righteousness,
The promised day of God.

HE Lord will come and not be slow,
His footsteps cannot err;

Before him righteousness shall
His royal harbinger.

go,

Truth from the earth, like to a flower,

Shall bud and blossom then :
And justice, from her heavenly bower,
Look down on mortal men.

Rise, God, judge Thou the earth in might,
This wicked earth redress;

For Thou art He Who shalt by right
The nations all possess.

The nations all whom Thou hast made
Shall come, and all shall frame
To bow them low before Thee, Lord,
And glorify Thy Name.

For great Thou art, and wonders
By Thy strong hand are done :

Thou in Thy everlasting seat
Remainest God alone.

ORD, while for all mankind we pray

Lor every clime and coast,

Oh! hear us for our native land,
The land we love the most.

Oh! guard our shores from every foe;
With peace our borders bless;

With

prosperous times our cities crown: Our fields with plenteousness.

Unite us in the sacred love

Of knowledge, truth, and Thee ;
And let our hills and valleys shout
The songs of liberty.

Lord of the nations, thus to Thee
Our country we commend ;

Be Thou her Refuge and her Trust,
Her everlasting Friend.
