Elzev. 1665: the last two paragraphs being caps. 4 and 5, of Lib. 1. of St Gregory of Tours' life of St Martin. Opp. ed. Migne, Par. 1849, coll. 918, 919.

BIBLIA VULGATA SANCTI HIERONYMI.

After the usual prologues, Genesis begins f. 5 b, with an illuminated I: St Matthew begins f. 325, and the Revelation ends f. 404b. The books occur in the usual order, except that the Acts follows the Epistle to the Hebrews.

On f. 1 is written the will of Rychard Smyth of Harpolt; it is dated Dec. 1528; he leaves his 'body to be buryed yn the churchyarde of Alhalows of Harpolt:' his 'best good to be' his 'mortuary'-'to Lincolne church iia, and the resydewe of his goods to his wife Jane; it is witnessed by Rychard Surge.

On ff. 2 and 321, occurs the name John Ayllward.

On f. 406 b is written in a minute hand a commentary on Rev. xiii. 1.

A small quarto, on paper, containing ff. 89, in double columns of about 30 lines. Date, 1628.
