produced £2. 28. in Sir Mark Sykes's sale.

small 4to. SEC. XV Quaritch A very elegant Manuscript of Italian execution, written upon very delicate white vellum. The first page is surrounded by a neatly executed border of interlaced work in gold and colours, with the arms of the person for whom it was executed: the capitals are illuminated. This Manuscript belonged to Helias Putschius, the celebrated grammarian, by whom it was lent to Petrus Scriverius, as appears from an autograph note of the latter on the first leaf. Manuscripts of Frontinus are of very rare occurrence.
