VIEW OF THE HERMITAGE AT WARKWORTH, IN NORTHUMBERLAND.

AND

Ancient Greek, Roman, and English Coins, &c.

5027 Medallions-the complete series of the 10 very large Bonaparte Medallions, most beautiful Foreign Impressions, the whole elegantly mounted in handsome brass frames, designed either to hang up in the Study or Library, or to lie in the Cabinet, 9l. 9s. 5028 Medallions-the same series, complete, and very fine and early impressions, elegantly fitted up in a large Purple Morocco case, richly gilt; and with the arms of Napoleon, finely embossed in 8 places, 7. 17s. 6d.

5029 Medallions-the same series, fine English Impressions, (the dies having been of late purchased by some artists in London,) handsomely fitted up in an elegant and large Red Morocco case, richly gilt, 61. 6s.

N. B. These Medallions are considered to be some of the largest and most beautiful ever executed in any country. They are the work of the celebrated Andrieu, of Paris, the Artist who engraved the principal part of the famous series of Bonapartean Medals. They are doubtless not only interesting as beautiful specimens of the perfection to which this portion of art has been brought, and as exhibiting excellent likenesses of the extraordinary man Napoleon, and of his wives, but also as commemorative of important events, which not long since caused pretty great sensation almost throughout the civilized world. 5030 Medals-the complete National Series of FORTY in Bronze, containing Portraits of all the eminent Commanders, Generals, &c., and descriptive of the various achievements, of the British Armies, throughout the recent long and sanguinary contest, comprising a period of 25 or 30 years. The whole beautifully engraved, many of them by Foreign Artists, under the direction of J. Mudie, and fitted in an elegant Red Morocco case, richly gilt, 21l.

N. B. The above is a very fine and early subscription set, and at the original subscription price-as immediately on publication, sets were raised from 20 to 23 Guineas.

5031 Medals-the complete National Series, Historical and Critical account of, comprising an interesting and connected historical record. of the important events that have taken place on the Continent, during the 25 or 30 years war, which terminated by the general peace in 1815; embellished with Engravings of the entire Series; royal 4to., elegantly printed on fine wove paper, extra bds., sells 1. 11s. 6d., for 11. 5s. Lond. 1820 N. B. To the purchaser of the preceding article, (the National Series of Medals,) a copy of this valuable work, will be given in.

5032 Medals a very interesting Series of the BONAPARTEAN-illustrative of the campaigns, and numerous other important events connected with the Reign and Dynasty of Napoleon Bonaparte, about EIGHTY in number, in Bronze, very scarce, the whole collection for 601.

5033 Medals-a very interesting series of the BONAPARTEAN, as above, and the Series very similar as to subjects, but in SILVER-also about EIGHTY in number, very scarce, the whole collection for 70%.

The Medals struck by order of Napoleon, at the French National Mint, are remarkable for their beauty of execution. They are generally engraved by the celebrated ANDRIEU, of Paris, whose skill in this line of art seems almost inimitable. They are therefore interesting in two points of view, as exhibiting great beauty of execution, being models of the perfection to which the art of medal engraving is brought, and as commemorating great and important events. The designs were executed under the direction of Count DENON. SINGLE MEDALS OF THE BONAPARTE SERIES,

GREAT RARITY.
