5.

The Lessons are studied every week by more than 300,000 children in our Sunday Schools, three-quarters of the total number. They give a UNIFORM series of lessons for Sunday study throughout the Church.

The scheme is heartily endorsed by nearly all the Bishops and
Diocesan S. S. Committees.

The periodicals published in connection with the lessons are prop-
erly graded and adapted to the various ages of the scholars.
The subject of the lessons, for the sake of variety and interest, is
changed every six months.

6. The cost per annum is much less than any other system that gives a year's course.

7.

The helps for the teacher are carefully prepared and aid directly in the teaching of the lessons.

Clergymen or Sunday School Workers are invited to examine the Quarterly Publications edited by the Rev. GEORGE W. SHINN, D.D. These Quarterlies have for twenty years followed the uniform scheme of the Joint Diocesan Committees. The theme of lessons from Advent, 1898, to Trinity, 1899, is on “Christian Truths and Duties as Seen in the Epistles."
