With the rapid development of mankind and increasing westernization of lifestyles has led to the development of multiple life-style diseases. India is among the fastest developing country in the world and with this rapid development, it has left behind people with uncountable diseases, one of them is lifestyle related diseases. This book has been written primarily for the aims to provide the knowledge about the prevention and Ayurvedic management of lifestyle related diseases.

Ayurveda attract the world towards its holistic approach to treat the disease. Diet plays an important role in the lifestyle diseases; it provides a better solution in the form of proper management of diet, healthy lifestyle approaches, detoxification, and rejuvenation of body.

This book is conveniently divided into 15 chapters. The language is very simple and lucid. The chapter emphasize the topics that have compelling practical application. All the important information is highlighted, which I hope will help the reader to understand the subject better.

Dr Azara Qureshi (B.A.M.S., MD Kayachikitsa). presently working as an Assistant Professor at Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical college and Hospitak, Moga, Punjab. She has a good amount of teaching experience and extensive research in writing and editing of research Rog Chikitsa. She is engaged in writing and editing of research and review papers in journals or repute, manuals and a book.

Having pro-actively participated and presented in conferences and attended workshops, she has honed her clinical skills over the years.
