EDITOR. The choice of the works to be included in The Sportsman's
Library, and the Editorship of the Series, has been entrusted to SIR
HERBERT MAXWELL, Bart., M.P.

ARTISTS.-The assistance has been secured of some of the best
Sporting Artists of the day, including Charles Whymper, G. E. Lodge,
A. Thorburn, J. G. Millais, G. H. Jalland, P. Chenevix Trench, and
others, who will supplement, where necessary, the fine Plates and
Engravings of the original works.

STYLE AND PRICE.-The Sportsman's Library will be issued in two
forms :-(1) The Large Paper Edition de Luxe, limited to Two
Hundred Copies, quarto size, produced in the finest style. The price
of these copies is

(2) The Library Edition of octavo volumes, well printed on good
paper, and handsomely bound, of which the price is

Two volumes of The Sportsman's Library are ready and a third will appear in
the Spring of 1897. Later volumes will be issued at the rate of two or three a year.
Subscriptions can either be made for Single Volumes or for the Series.
