43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had doneitas theLoaD had commanded.even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them. CHAP. XL.

AND the Loud spake unto Moses, saying,

2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

3 And thou shalt put therein tin of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil.

•1 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the tilings tliat are to! beset in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

6 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

6 And thou shalt set the altarof the burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congi gation.

7And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

8 And thou ehalt set up the court round about, a.id hang up the hanging at the court-gate.

9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all fhatis therein, and shalt hallow it, »".nd all the vessels thereof: and it shall »>e holy.

10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt-offering, and all his vessels and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.

11 And thou shalt anoint the lav and his foot, and sanctify it.

13 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sous unto the door of the tabi cle of tne congreguUon,and wash them with water.

13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron tin holy garments, and anoint him, an< sanctify him; that he may minister un/o me in the priest's office.

14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe l.hem with coats:

17 IF And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, thai the tabernacle was reared up.

13 And Moses reared up the tabernale, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in tin; bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.

19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the Lord commanded Moses.

20 TT And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as theLoaD commanded Moses.

27 And he burnt sweet incense thereon ; as the Lord commanded Mosea

2-8 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

29 And he put the altar of burotofl'eriiig by the door of the labernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt-offering and (he meat-offering; as the Lokd commanded Moses.

30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

31 And Moses ruid Aaron, and his sons, washed their hands and their feet thereat:

32 When they went into tbe tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.

33 And lie reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court-gate. So Moses finished the work.

34 1T Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord tilled the tabernacle.

AND the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,If any man of you brine an offering unto the Lord, ye shall"bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

3 If his offering be a burnt-sacrifice of the herd, let hnn offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.

4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

ft And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron's eons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

12 And he shall cut it into his pieces, k-iih his head and his fat: and the

13 But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring ic all, and burn it upon the

shall be unleavened cakes of fine flout mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

5 IT And if thy oblation be a meat-ofrering buken in a pan.it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled wit

7 TT And if thy oblation be a ir offering haken in the frying-pan, it shall be made uflwe flour with oil.

8 And thou shalt bring the meat-oiler ing that is made of these things untc the Loud; and when jt is presented unto the priest, lie shall bring it i the altar.

9 And the priest shall take from meat-offering a memorial thereof, eliall burn ic upon the altar: it u offering made by fire, of a sweet sa\ unto the Lord.

10 And that which is left of the m offering shall be Aaron's and his so it is a thing most holy of the offer of the Lord made by fire.

11 No meat-olferiiig, which ye shallj bring unto the Lord, shall b with leaven: for ye shall burn no| leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the Lord made by lire.

12 A3 for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the Loud: but I hey shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.

13 And every oblation of thv meatoffering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat-offering.- with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.

14 And if thou offer a meat-offering of thy first-frui(3 unto the Lord, thou chalt offer, for I he meat-offering of thy

15 And thou shalt putoil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: itija meatoffering.

If5 And the priest shall bum the memorial of \ttpart of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; it is an offering mads by fire unto the Lord.

CHAP. III.

AND if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace-offering, if heofferii of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish beh re the Lord.

2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's eons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

3 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace-olTering, an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat that coverelh the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

4 And the two kidneys, and (lie fathat is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

5 Awd Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt-sacrifice, which is upon the wood that won the lire; it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

6 Y. And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace-offering unto the Lord be of the flock: male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

7 ir he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Lord.

8 And he shall lav his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before I he tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle" the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the Hanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord's,

17 II shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor| Blood.

CHAP. IV. fa ND the Lord spake unto Moses.

Sinoferings. Lion; and shall pour all the blood Ot the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt-offering, which is at tlie Jour of the tabernacle of the congregation.

8 And lie shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin-offering; tlie fat that covereth the inwards, and ill the fat that is upon the inwards,

9 And tlie two kidneys, and the fat hat is upon them, which is by the

flanks, and tlie caul above the liver, villi the kidneys, it shall he take away.

10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt-offering.

11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where tlie ashes are pour

and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

13 Tf And if the whole congregation of Israel ein through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concei-ning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock 6ball be killed before the Lord.

16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

17 And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before the veiL

IS And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the Loud, that is in the taber nacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at tlie bottom of

6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the veil of the sanctuary.

24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt-offering before the Lord: it is a sin-offering.

-25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with hjs finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt-olTering.i

26 And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 IT And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning thi7igs which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned,

29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offermg, and slay the sin-offering in the place of the burnt-offering.

30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of bumtoffering.and shall pour out all the blood thereol at the bottom of the altar.

31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from

35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peaceoffering; and the priest sha-11 burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

CHAP. V.

AND if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then lie shall bear his iniquity.

2 Or if a soul touch any unclean tiling, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty

3 Or if lie touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it lie that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him: when he knovveth of it, then he shall be guilt)'.

4 Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil,or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

5 And it 6hall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:

6 And he shall bring his trespassoffering unto the Loud, for his ein which he bath sinned, a female from the flock, a Iamb, or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall
