FIRST CLASS. Subscribers paying 107. 10s. the Year,-61. 6s. the Half Year, or 31. 13s. 6d. the Quarter, are allowed Fifteen Volumes when in Town, and Thirty when in the Country: they are entitled to the NEWEST AND MOST

COSTLY PUBLICATIONS.

An extra Number of all New and Popular Works is expressly supplied for this Class of Subscribers; and any New Publication of general interest, which may not have been purchased, is procured at their suggestion.

SECOND CLASS.-Subscribers paying 51. 5s. the Year,-31. 3s. the Half Year, or 11. 16s. the Quarter, are entitled to Twelve Volumes when in Town, Twenty-Four when in the Country, and to two sets of the New Publications at one time.

THIRD CLASS.-Subscribers paying 31. 3s. the Year,-21. 2s. the Half Year, or 1. 5s. the Quarter, are allowed Five Volumes when in Town, and Ten when in the Country: but are not entitled to the perusal of any New Publications whatever.

Regulations and Conditions.

1. THE SUBSCRIPTION, &c. TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OF SUBSCRIBING, and at the commencement of every subsequent Subscription; and a Deposit made, if required.

2. The Expense of the Box, Catalogues, and Supplements, Carriage to and from the Library, Postage, &c., to be defrayed by the Subscriber.

3. Should a Subscriber, through any cause whatever, detain a Book or Books beyond the Term subscribed for, the Subscription will not be closed until such Books are returned.

4. Subscribers are neither allowed to lend Books nor to transfer them to other Subscribers.

5. If a Book be written in, torn, or damaged, while in the possession of a Subscriber, the Volume injured, or Set, if part of one, is to be paid for.

6. Each Folio or Quarto to be reckoned as Two Books.

7. NEW PUBLICATIONS are not allowed to be kept longer than One Week by Subscribers, if in Town, and a Fortnight if in the Country, unless their Subscription is of the FIRST CLASS; and it is earnestly requested, as a certain means of securing general accommodation, that all New Works may be returned immediately they are read.

In order to prevent disappointment, Subscribers are requested to send a List of Ten or Twenty Numbers from the Catalogues; and, when residing in the Country, to transmit (by post) a List of Books required, a Week-previous to the return of the Box. They are also particularly requested to direct, that care be taken in packing the Boxes, as well as in conveying Books to and from the Library, when in Town.
