There are two Studentships each of the value of £150. One of them is awarded for research in the group of the Physical Sciences, including Astronomy, Chemistry, Geology, Mineralogy and Physics; the other is awarded for research in the group of the Biological Sciences, including Anatomy, Botany, Paleontology, Pathology, Physiology and Zoology.

The Studentships are awarded annually for one year, but are renewable for a second year. Under exceptional circumstances they may be renewed for a third year. The Studentships are restricted to British subjects.

The services of a TEACHER of ENGINEERING SUBJECTS are required for the coming Session, commencing September 1. The work is partly day and partly evening, totalling 27 hours per week. The subjects are those immediately allied to Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the examinations are those of the S. and A. Dept, and the City and Guilds of London Inst. Salary offered is £120 to £130, according to qualifications and experience.
