The "INCANDANODE" TUBE

(so called because it works all day with the Anode RED HOT). This Tube ran from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for five days at the Leicester meeting of the B. M. A. last July. The Anode was incandescent the whole time, but the Vacuum was fully maintained. One Tube will last for years. The Vacuum is easily adjustable.
