THE LORD'S PRAYER.

OUR Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

I. MORNING PRAYER.

Make me a good little

PRAY, God, bless me. child. Fill me full of love. papa and mamma say to me. my brothers and sisters. for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

May I mind what

May I be kind to Pray, God, bless us all,

Jesus, kind Shepherd of the sheep,
Thy little lamb in safety keep!
Guard me this day from every ill,
And with thy grace my spirit fill.

Teach me to love Thee, O my Lord;
Help me to read Thy Holy Word.

May the first sounds my lips can raise
Be sounds of joy, and prayer, and praise.

EVENING PRAYER.

PRAY, God, bless me, and take care of me tonight. Forgive me all I have done naughty today. Help me to love Thee, and to love Jesus Christ, my dear Saviour. May I be a child of God, and have God for my Father, and my Friend, for ever.

Hear my little prayer, O Lord, for Jesus' sake. Amen.

Jesus, underneath Thy care

Let me sweetly sink to rest,
Hear my little evening prayer,
And may Thy child be blest!

I thank Thee for my happy home,
And all that Thou hast given;
O make my infant heart Thine own,
And train Thy child for heaven!

II.-MORNING PRAYER.

PRAY, God, bless me to-day. naughty heart, and give me a me full of love to every one.

Help me to do as

I am bid, and to mind what papa and mamma say to me. Make me kind to my brothers and sisters. Help me to love Jesus Christ. May I be one of his own little lambs, and go to heaven when I die. Pray, God, bless us all, for Jesus' sake. Amen.

Gentle Jesus, meek and mild,
Look upon a little child.

Pity my simplicity,

And teach me, Lord, to pray to Thee.
Fain I would to Thee be brought,
Dearest Lord, forbid it not.

EVENING PRAYER.

I THANK Thee, O my Father, for all Thy kindness to me this day, for making me a happy little child, and for giving me so many blessings. I pray Thee to forgive me all I have done wrong to-day. Help me to-morrow to try more and more to please Thee, and to do Thy holy will in all things. Pray, God, watch over me to-night while I am asleep, and bless us all, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
