About the author (2004)

The Sivananada Yoga Vedanta Centre was founded by Swami Vishnu-devananda, a renowned authority on Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga. The Sivananda teaching synthesises the wisdom of yoga into the five principles of Exercise, Breathing, Relaxation, Diet and Meditation, to form the foundation of a healthy lifestyle.
