AN INTROIT, TO BE SUNG BETWEEN THE
LITANY AND COMMUNION SERVICE.
Oh most merciful!
HYMN AFTER SERMON.
LORD, now we part in Thy blest name,
Teach us in life and death to bless
BEFORE THE SACRAMENT.
BREAD of the world, in mercy broken !
And in whose death our sins are dead!
Look on the heart by sorrow broken,
Look on the tears by sinners shed,
That by Thy grace our souls are fed !
[See also the Hymn for second Sunday after Trinity.]
AWAKE my soul, and with the sun
Awake! lift up thyself my heart !
Glory to Thee who safe hast kept,
Lord, I my vows to Thee renew;
Direct, control, suggest this day
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow! Praise Him all creatures here below! Praise Him above, ye Heavenly Host! Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost !
Glory to Thee my God! this night, For all the blessings of the light ! Keep me, oh keep me, King of kings! Under Thine own Almighty wings!
Forgive me Lord, for Thy dear Son,
Oh let my soul on Thee repose,
Teach me to live, that I may
dread The grave as little as my bed ; Teach me to die, that so I
may With joy behold the judgement day!
Praise God, &c.
