Obviously Hassan has presented her own view about the founder of Ahmadia Islam.Her view that there were merely 50,000 followers of the community at the demise of the founder is not based on fact as the followers were about 500,000 or more .Secondly the claim of the founder of the worldwide Ahmadiyya community does not make any distinction between mahdi and Messiah .Being mahdi shows the status of being one from within the Ummah of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him ) and the status of Messiah reflects the prophethood for all the followers of other religions.
